The first thing anyone should know about Leeloo is how weird and wonderful she is and it makes her incredibly endearing.
She came to me from Aegis Ridgebacks in Utah with Wendy Dexter of Nevada.
Leeloo's show career started with a Best Puppy in Show and finished her championship in 2010 with 8 of her 10 points being awarded by hound breeder judges. She never thought showing was interesting, she thinks chasing squirrels is more rewarding!
In the Fall of 2012 I decided to dust off Leeloo and enter her in a Canine Feneration of Canada show - they are similar to the shows in Europe and South America and each dog is given a written critique you can keep for your records. Leeloo did very well and she only needs one more Excellent to complete this Championship. I'm so proud of my Doodlebug!
2013 will see us at another CFC show and then heading to the USA to see what Leeloo can do about her American title.
Even after two litters Leeloo demonstrates she's still got it and there is life after puppies!
